Add Braineet markup to your PowerPoint file or Google Slide
1. Define the bindings configuration
You will be able to define the fields that will be used to fill the PowerPoint file for each project or the fields that will be filled by the Powerpoint file each time a user uploads a new version of their project.
For each binding, you must select:
- A custom field: This field will be used to fill the Excel file, or the data will be imported into it.
- Mode:
- Braineet field updated by Powerpoint: This option allows the Powerpoint file to be filled and personalized for each project using a field.
- Powerpoint updated by a Braineet field: This option allows a custom field to be filled with data from the Powerpoint file when users upload a new version of it.
- Both ways: This option enables both the previous modes to keep synchronization between Powerpoint and the Braineet field.
- Markup: You need to copy and then paste the markup on your Powerpoint template.
2. Paste the markup on your Powerpoint templateCopy link
In order to allow Braineet field to be updated by Powerpoint or Powerpoint to be updated by a Braineet field, Braineet will read out the markup from alt text in your presentation. (It will not read the markup from the slides.)
To add markup to your template, just paste the markup you want Braineet to read into the alt text. Here is how to do it in the most popular presentation tools.
- To add alt text to a text box in Microsoft PowerPoint, simply click on the text box. Then, go to the "Shape Format" tab at the top and click on "Alt Text" in the top bar. This will open a new panel at the top of your slide
- In Google Slides, select the text box by clicking on it, then right click on the box and click on “Alt text” in the menu. You will see a new panel at the of your slide.
3. Upload your Powerpoint template
Once you have added all the markups to your PowerPoint, you need to upload your PPTX file by clicking the "Upload and save the PowerPoint template" button.
