Smart PowerPoint field in Braineet

The Smart PowerPoint feature enables users to streamline their workflow by generating PowerPoint presentations and effortlessly collecting data using PowerPoint files..

The Smart PowerPoint Field is designed to simplify two key use cases:

1. Generate PowerPoint Presentations with Ease: You can now easily create dynamic PowerPoint presentations within Braineet. Design your templates and, when you need to generate a presentation, simply upload your PowerPoint file. The system will automatically populate slides with your data, saving you valuable time and ensuring consistent formatting across projects.

2. Collect Data Seamlessly: Do you have PowerPoint files that contain valuable data? Simply upload them to Braineet. Our system intelligently extracts the data from the files, enabling you to effortlessly collect and manage information without the need for manual data entry.

You can create a new Smart Powerpoint field by Adding a field with the "Smart Powerpoint" type.

Set up the Smart Powerpoint

To add a Powerpoint template and define the fields that will be populated on each project, as well as the field that will be filled each time a user uploads a Powerpoint file based on the template, edit the configuration of the custom field and click on the "Edit Template" button.

Define conditional slide visibility

With the Smart PowerPoint feature, you can customize the PowerPoint file generated from your template for each project. This allows you to show or hide slides based on any Braineet field data. For example, based on the maturity of your project, you may need different formats.

To define which slides are visible or hidden depending on the conditions, click on the "Define Visible Slides" button in the configuration menu of the Smart Powerpoint field.

For each slide, you can select:

• Visibility (Show or Hide): The slide will be hidden (not deleted) or shown if conditions are met. You can also choose whether hide a slide without any conditions attached.
• Condition (optional): The visibility of the slide will be determined based on whether it meets the condition of the project fields. More information about filtering: Filtering by a field

Add or update the Powerpoint file

To upload a new version of the Smart Powerpoint file for this project, click on "Add a Powerpoint file".

Previous versions will still be accessible through the same menu viewer.

Replace the template

To edit and replace the template used in every project, click on the "Edit Template" button in the configuration menu of the Smart Powerpoint field.

Restore a previous version

Click on the project field that you want to edit, and then hover over the version that you want to restore.

To restore a previous Powerpoint file, click the ... view menu and then select Restore this version at the bottom of the dropdown menu that appears.
