Custom Fields Basics

After a field has been created, you can customize the field (column) type and access additional options from the field's dropdown menu. Learn about the various options for customizing fields in this article.

The field is akin to the concept of a column in Excel. In Braineet, the field is most often a text type field. However, it can also support many other field types including, but not limited to, date, number, single choice, and formula field types.

Custom field system - By default a portfolio contain multiple custom field that are not editable and are filled by the system.

Braineet current supports fields as the following field types:

  Each time you see a custom field (on a portfolio column, in your summary, on the display button, etc..), you can now click on it to edit the configuration.

• Can be change the type of a Custom Field?

  Currently, you can’t change the type of a field on Braineet. You need to delete it and create it again.
