Supported field types in Braineet overview
All currently available field types are listed below in alphabetical order.

| Currency | number | A currency field is a specific type of number field that formats the number as a currency amount. | Currency field |
| Date | date | A date field allows you to easily enter a date into a project. When editing a date, you will be presented with a calendar widget that makes it easy to select a specific date. | Date field |
| File or media | File, Image, video or Link | An file or media field is a type of field that allows you to attach one or more files, images, or links directly to your Braineet project. | File or Media field |
| Formula | varied outputs (depending on the formula) | Formulas allow you to compute a value in each project based on other custom field in that same project. | Formula field |
| Long text | string | A long text field is great when you need to keep notes or multiple lines of text in each record. You can enter new lines into a long text field. If you need more styling options, you can enable rich text for the field. | Long text field |
| Number | number | The number field type is a field type designed to hold numbers. The number field type is a general-purpose field type for most numerical values, like the number of chairs of a particular type your furniture business has in stock, or the distance in kilometers from one city to another city. | Number field |
| Percentage | number | The percent field type is a field type designed to hold numerical values formatted as percents. The values in a percent field are all represented as fractions of 100 with the percent sign; e.g. the number .75 in a percent field is represented as 75%. | Percentage field |
| Pick list | string | A single select field is ideal when you want to be able to select a single option from a preset list of options. | Pick list field |
| Pick list (Multi-Select) | array of strings | A multiple select field is similar to a single select field; it allows you to select predetermined options from a list. Unlike a single select field, however, you can select as many options as you'd like per project. | Pick list (Multi-Select) field |

| Short text | string | The single line text field is best for short, unique pieces of text, such as the names of your friends, the names of your cats, or the names of your friends' cats. | Short Text field |
| User | array of user object or/and string | The user field allows you to select one or more names from an automatically generated dropdown list of all the users. You can add also an email to send invitation following the configuration or just a name that doesn’t match to user from the platform. | User field |
| URL | string | A URL field is intended to store a single URL in each project. Clicking on a URL will bring you to that URL. | URL field |
| Smart Excel | Excel file | The smart excel field allows users upload Excel based on a template that can be pre-filled with other fields for each projects. When users upload their files, the system can automatically populate custom fields based on the data within the file, eliminating the need for manual double-entry. | Smart Excel field |
